Everyday carry (EDC) or every day carry refers to a small collection of tools, equipment and supplies that are carried on a daily basis to assist in tackling situations ranging from the mundane to the disastrous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everyday_carry
Just starting to get my EDC it in to order. Currently I have a SAK (Swiss Army Knife) Hunstman, LED Lenser P3 and Exotac Nanostriker all clipped on to a mini carabiner. The SAK is within the legal limit to be allowed to be carried in the UK. I carry this in my trouser pockets all the time. I also carry my wallet, Galaxy S3 and a packet of tissues, its not tactical or anything but I use it the most!
I have just got a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack. So I’m still working on the load out of it at the moment. I use it as my work bag as well as at the weekends so the load is a bit mixed plus I have put some bits in to keep my kids entertained if need be, which under the above definition could be anywhere between the mundane and disastrous 🙂

I don’t currently carry a multitool at the moment as the one I have, the blade locks out on it. I think it might be legal just in the UK but I don’t want to take the chance.
This is a work in progress so I expect to change things round quite a bit as I find out what works and what doesn’t.
Pictures to follow.
