Went on holiday with the wife, kids and dog down to the Norfolk Broads, we rented a boat and had a very pleasent week sailing around the rivers there.
Did manage to get some radio in whilst we were moored up at different sites, but as always 5 or 10 watts does not always get you heared.
I managed to attach the antenna mast to the boat and run an end fed antenna up. Tried SSB but there was a lot of noise so switched to FT8. I then got the 10 contacts to active the Parks on the Air park. I then left it for a while and tried SSB agin and got a few contacts. Very happy all in all.
